* Community bike shop
Once a month; the workshops are usually two hours in length and focused on a particular topic related to cycling or on the technical aspects of maintaining and repairing particular systems on the bicycle (i.e. the shifting system: derailers, cables, and shifters.) We ask 5 € (euros) per person. Watch the calendar for events!
* Earn-A-Bike program
The Earn-A-Bike program is intended to provide the youth (regardless of economic status, race, gender, sexuality, ethnic background, political affiliation, etc.) with an empowering opportunity to learn how repair a bicycle and earn a bicycle to ride while doing so. This program is still at a blueprint stage but we hope to get started with it soon.
* Bicycles for Chiapas project
The Bicycles of Chiapas project is a bicycle drive to benefit Chiapas, an autonomous region located in southern Mexico. The bicycle fleamarket would be responsible for collecting and refurbishing used bicycles which would then be shipped by Estelle to the Chiapas region. While we hope to get started with this project in the near future.
