Cargo transport

Estelle is a unique sailing cargo vessel, which has capacity and class to sail world wide. We are seeking fair cargo to transport across the oceans and doing positive publicity work related to our climate friendly cargo transport. Farest cargo yet transported with Estelle is humanitarian aid cargo Angola from Finland.

Our cargo capacity is 220 tn. Estelle has two cargo holds:

Cargo hold I: 6,06 x 6,7 x 2,65 m
Hatch I: 3,06 x 4,05 x 0,75 m
Volume: 123 m3

and

Cargo hold II: 6,06 x 6,7 x 2,65 m
Hatch II: 3,06 x 4,05 x 0,75 m
Volume: 200,8 m3

Why use sailing vessel for cargo transport?

Sailing does not contribute to the climate change. Ocean cargo traffic emits more green house gases (GHG) into atmosphere than aviation, approximately 5 % of total GHG emissions globally. Huge cargo ships have also other influences on marine environments like transporting foreign invasive species, contamination and coastal erosion.
