We welcome you to join us in working towards a fairer world. In Summer 2008, Estelle will again sail along the waterways of Europe. Both office and ship maintenance work need to be done continuously. Here is a list of the most common chores:

Tasks on Land:
On board the Ship:
- maintenance and repair work
- cleaning
- begging for and collecting supplies / materials / food
- household chores in the kitchen
- courses and training e.g.
In the office:
- recruiting volunteers
- mailings
- answering the phone
- translations (English, German, Swedish, Polish, Estonian etc.)
- fundraising, including planning, designing and selling support products
Information and PR:
-training sessions
Bicycle flea market:
- repairing and selling used bicycles
- designing, making and distributing ads

Chores onboard
Trainee deck workers:
- deck work
- ship maintenance and repair work
- campaign work at open doors and other events and / or at the café
You're welcome to join a sailing trip even if you don't have any previous experience. Don' t hesitate to ask! Trainees will be charged a 20 euro reservation and food fee which includes an Estelle Crew t-shirt and the Estelle ABC leaflet. You can also pay the fee by taking part in the work parties beforehand.
The tasks of the cook (the chef will instruct the kitchen staff in their tasks)
at the campaign harbours:
- cleaning!
- kitchen inventory
- planning of meals
- shopping - and begging - for food
- preparing and cooking the food
- campaign work or work at the café
At sea:
- preparing breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, dinner, evening snack, late night snack
- cleaning!
ATTENTION! The cook will have to prepare both meat and vegetarian dishes.
The cook will be paid a per diem allowance according to agreement. S/he will also get an Estelle Crew t-shirt and the Estelle ABC leaflet for free.
